How attorneys, courts, and law enforcement can serve legal process on RespondConnect or request preservation or disclosure of data. Review the guidance below, then submit a request through the form.
Serving process
Direct subpoenas, court orders, and warrants to legal@respondconnect.com. Include the requesting authority, a case/reference number, and the specific accounts or content at issue.
Data we retain
We keep little by design. Today the only automatic deletion that runs is a 7-day purge of uploaded credential documents; scheduled purging of older content is built but not switched on. What exists at the time of a valid request is what can be produced, and a preservation hold cannot recreate data already deleted.
Emergency requests
For an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm, choose the Emergency request type and describe the exigency. These are triaged ahead of routine requests.
Notice & transparency
Responses are handled by RespondConnect's designated legal contact, and we will engage counsel on any request that warrants it. Where lawful and appropriate, the affected agency and/or member may be notified. Every disclosure is logged in an append-only audit record.
Where to serve, cross-agency data. RespondConnect holds the platform-governed, cross-agency data - the Communities and the platform-owned safe spaces (peer support, wellness). Legal process for that data is served on RespondConnect here, not on an individual agency. Content confined to a single agency's own space is governed by that agency.

Submitting this form is not service of process. Formal service must be made on our designated legal contact as described above.
